Stacy's Favorite Coffee
Stacy is a city girl through and through. And She LOVES her coffee! Enjoy the recipe below for her favorite blend.
Gather the following and blend hot or over ice.

8 oz hot or cold strong brew medium or dark roast coffee.

1/8 cup half & half or heavy whipping cream

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon real maple syrup

Luxury Chocolate version:

Add 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup (in an emergency) or 2- 3 bite sized squares dark chocolate (ideal) to hottest coffee. Stir with a spoon or metal straw until chocolate is melted and blended.

Top with whipped cream and a chocolate syrup drizzle if you feel especially indulgent or need a serious life affirming moment after spending all night hunting vampires.
Chapter & Mercy
Chapter & Mercy is one of Stacy's reader's favorite locations in The Unimaginables series. It is where Stacy first confronts Nicolai in Hidden City and where Finder and Tully have their first fight. Unlike so many of the locations in the series which are real locations you can visit in Richmond, VA, Chapter & Mercy exists only on the page. It is completely the product of my imagination as I create the most perfect coffee shop bookstore I can imagine and take you there as often as possible in the books.
The recipes are real though, including the shop's signature almond biscotti, which I will post for you soon. Meanwhile, enjoy Stacy's version of the ideal coffee. Remember, always make a plan, stick to the plan, be ready to change the plan, and keep your mind on the mate. And eat chocolate.
